Background. The article presents the most important events in scientific biography of A.N. Leontiev (1903–1979). Some aspects his psychological theory activity are being analyzed. relevance addressing heritage and school is determined by implemented methodology research, which an alternative to approaches study consciousness that dominate modern world science. Objectives paper were highlight those successfully “highly organized practice” as well discuss some controversial issues cultural-activity psychology. Method. Well-known works Leontiev, colleagues, opponents served sources for study, historical genre methodology. archive materials, including have not been previously introduced comunity used well. Results.
